In 2003, we set up a small animal clinic in a historic grade II listed building next to the ancient St Nicholas Church, in the old High Street of Dalkeith. Since then we have become one of the first practices to enrol in the voluntary Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme, we have introduced our pioneering Healthy Pet Club and the practice has grown to the extent that in the summer of 2011 we moved into a purpose-built premises just round the corner at 18 Edinburgh Road, Dalkeith.
Since then we have introduced our pioneering Healthy Pet Club and the practice has grown to the extent that, in the summer of 2011, we moved into a purpose-built premises just round the corner at 18 Edinburgh Road, Dalkeith.
This exciting development has allowed us to increase the number of examination rooms, improve hospitalisation facilities and to introduce the latest in digital radiography.
There is now car parking and (what we think is) a very pleasant waiting room environment, which should help both clients and patients alike.
While our premises may have changed, one thing has not - you can still expect the same friendly, approachable and professional service as ever. At Market Cross Veterinary Clinic, we look forward to meeting you, even if it's just to pop in and have a chat.
