Our friendly team of veterinary staff are dedicated to ensuring the highest level of medical care for your animal.

Our veterinary team

John A Buxton BVMS MRCVS, graduated in 1997 from Glasgow University Vet School and has worked in large animal, mixed and exclusively small animal practice across the UK, including emergency practice in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Beate H Turoy-Buxton BVMS MRCVS, graduated in 1998 from Glasgow University Vet School and has worked in mixed and small animal practice in Scotland, Liverpool and Cheltenham.

Averil Caird BSc Hons RVN, graduated in July 2005 and has been with us since September 2005.

Sarah Chapman RVN, graduated in 2003 and has been with us since 2009.

Our nursing students are Rebecca Todd and Colin.

Our Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons accreditation

The RCVS Practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary scheme which gives you the peace of mind that our staff, premises, equipment and level of care are maintained at a high standard. We have been a member since the scheme began. We are now rated as General Practice standard (old tier 2), the highest possible for a General Practice
